LAWN INSTALLATION AND CARE FAQ

Here are a few common questions for newly seeded lawns.  If you have any other questions, please email us your question and we will respond as soon as we can.  Thank you!

Q:  How much water should I put on my new lawn?

A:  All newly seeded lawns should receive two-tenths of an inch of water per day.  This constant amount of water is necessary to promote seed germination.

Q:  How do I know that I am putting that amount on my lawn?

A: You can do this by placing a rain gauge in the area being sprinkled.  After calculating the length of time required to reach the two-tenths inch mark on the rainin gauge, you will then know how often to move your sprinkler.
