Q: How much should I water my new plants?
A: For the first year after planting, a plant should be kept on a watering schedule. It doesn't need to be watered daily, nor should it be watered lightly. Thorough watering is best! A good schedule calls for a thorough watering of 1" of rainfall about every 5 days during the first year. less frequent, but a more thorough watering of the root ball will promote growth. Don't over water!
Q: How do I know if I am watering enough?
